Let’s Get Ready To Rumble!

Some of you haven’t posted your starting weights. Get to it!

I’m still not close to 100%,stupid cold. I pounded down way too much fruit today but my calories were still at about 1600. I’ll probably hit the fruit basket tomorrow to help me stay away from the donuts. Atkins will start on Saturday. Good bye carbs until October 1.

Tip 1

Toss all of the bad food, NOW! That means you too Fitby40. Those with families have a tougher time but the family will understand. Toss all of the junk food. All of it. Mr. B can take the kids for a treat when he is in town and theย in-lawsย can take the kids for weekend treats. You need to remove ALL temptation from the house. I will wait…. go…..toss it now…..

Tip 2

Mistakes happen. Don’t beat yourself up over them but don’t use them as an excuse to make even more mistakes.

Tip 3

Be realistic with your goals. Small obtainable goals are better in the long run. You can keep moving the bar higher but don’t just start out on day 1 saying I want to run a marathon in 2 months. ๐Ÿ˜›

Set attainable goals so you can celebrate like that announcer and build up a good head of steam!

Tip 4

Don’t watch food shows! Stay away from the food network! Even healthy shows will make you hungry. Don’t watch any cooking shows anywhere. That is torture and temptation all wrapped up in a diet killing bundle.

Music! Listen to your favorite songs often to keep your spirits up.

That song always puts a smile on my face. ๐Ÿ˜€

There it is. My stinking weight!!! Up 25 from my low point on March 28th. It will be interesting to see if diet alone can beat diet with RUNNING. Testing True runs about 1000 miles a week so it will be interesting to see who wins the weight loss battle between the two of us.

I’ve had 3 good eating days in a row. I’m not back on Atkins yet. Due to my illness, I’ve been eating lots of fruit to get an extra dose of vitamins.

If only I could handle every Wednesday free lunch the way I handled it yesterday. Not a single bite of the fried chicken and mac & cheese. It was easy. Of course it was easy, I wasn’t there. ๐Ÿ˜›

I swapped my Friday day off with Wednesday because I need to be at work for a Webinar on Friday.
