I’ve been hiding and eating everything in sight. I have definitely been AWOL from the diet since last Wednesday.
Uno de Mayo was not a very good day. To celebrate Cinco de Mayo, we had a Mexican Feast at work for free lunch Wednesday. Unlike when I hit the Mexican restaurant, there were no healthy options at work.
Enchiladas, Tacos, Burritos and Tamales, Oh My!
I am powerless over Mexican food. If you’ve been reading the blog long enough, you know my main fast food nemesis has always been Taco Bell. This is the first time in 18 months that we had a Mexican Feast and I didn’t have the willpower to pass that up.
Unfortunately, there were more leftovers than we actually ate on Wednesday. I dove back in on Thursday and had more than I ate on Wednesday. Then I just carried the fun all the way through the weekend with other evil items such as ice cream.
Terrible week and weekend! I did somewhat regain my footing yesterday and I’ve had a great Monday, but I did some pretty serious damage Wednesday through Saturday.
Maybe not quite as disastrous as an all time low, but it wasn’t a good weekend. I didn’t have the nerve to check the scale. I’ll probably hop on tomorrow and it will not be pretty.
Oh! We had 12 large pizzas at work today. 😛
I was able to abstain. Heck, I was still full from the weekend. 😛
