Raising the white flag!

Today is the final day of the competition. Everyone needs to send me their final weights tomorrow. My scale got tired of being crushed by my increasing weight and it jumped off my 3rd story balcony. 😛

The last week was not a good one. No it was not.

I’ve learned a few things over the last two months. When I don’t post. I eat too much. When I don’t get on the scale. I eat too much. When I have bad food around the house, I eat too much. 😛

Congratulations to everyone who competed in The Contest and congrats to those who actually lost weight. 😛

I’ll post the final results tomorrow night or Tuesday morning.

Tiffany crushed all of us. I really haven’t been able to gain any momentum since the Hurricane with all those darn MREs tempting me. I did a pretty good job avoiding the Weekly free lunch but the MREs got me.

I have a big temptation tomorrow because we are having fried shrimp poboys at a seminar. I have no chance to win so I might have to dive into the shrimp poboys. 😛

That’s it for the post. I’m even grumpier than normal now that my SAINTS have started out 0-3!!! 😛

Numbers!

The Contest

Get those numbers in by Saturday. We are almost down to the last week. It is never too late to climb back on the diet wagon and get that number moving down.

Weight Statistics

323/176.5/159.9

I need to at least get back below 175 to finish out the contest. As long as I can stay away from those MREs, I should be able to get back below my panic weight.

It has been a long time since I was under the panic weight for more than a day or two. I was hoping to get below 170 for the contest but that isn’t going to happen. My mouth and the hurricane caused too much havoc.

I had a pretty good dip on the scale this morning. I’ve had 3 fantastic eating days in a row. I need to behave over the weekend which has been difficult recently.

Today’s Menu

Breakfast – Pork loin with cheese

Lunch – None

Dinner – Baked chicken with salad

Snack – Pork loin with cheese

Calories – 1100

If I want to get back below 175, I need to stay away from those MRE cookies and peanut butter. 😛

Free lunch Wednesday was tough yesterday. It was fried chicken with mac and cheese day.

The aroma of fried chicken nearly mesmerized me into heading up to the kitchen for the feast. I fought the urge and stayed away from the kitchen. Now I need to fight the urge to break into the MREs.

Derailed!

Not a very good weekend. I did fine Friday until I broke into the MREs(meals ready to eat) Friday night. I did fine Saturday until I broke into the MREs that night. I did fine Sunday until……no actually I did not do fine Sunday.

I wasn’t very good once the SAINTS were crushed. I broke into the MREs. Those oatmeal cookies, raspberry cookies and peanut M&Ms have been more temptation that I have been able to handle. That and the peanut butter.

Anyone see a pattern? Those MREs are trouble. You can definitely see the importance of keeping BAD FOOD out of the house. All of those cookies, candies and crackers are more temptation than I have been able to deal with lately.

Only 2 weeks left. I know I can’t retain the grumpy mug, but I am hoping I can dig deep enough to finish strong. I want to at least get back below my panic weight. That may take some serious work because I did some serious DAMAGE over the weekend.

Skype just beeped at me and almost scared me into heart failure. 😛

I don’t know. I decided against stepping on the scale this morning because I didn’t want a broken toe. The results would have made me kicking mad. I’ll get back on tomorrow to see the carnage.

I appear to be back on track today. Weekends are a serious pain!!! Too much time to eat!!! 😛
